The Boys' Brigade

The Boys' Brigade is a worldwide, uniformed Christian youth organisation for boys. The 1st Slough Company is part of the youth work at St Andrews Methodist Church and provides a wide range of interesting, educational, adventurous and fun activities, as well as basic Christian education.

The Company has four sections catering for boys aged 5 to 19 years:

• The Anchor Boys for boys at school aged 5 to 8 years and meets from 6.15pm to 7.15 pm on Tuesday evenings during term time.
• The Junior Section for boys aged 8 to 11 years and meets from 6.30pm to 8.00pm on Tuesday evenings.
• The Company Section for boys aged 11 to 14 years and meets from 6.30pm to 9.30pm on Friday evenings.
• The Senior Section for boys aged 15 to 19 years and meets from 6.30pm to 9.30pm on Friday evenings.
