Rainbows
If your daughter is aged between five and seven, she has the opportunity to become a Rainbow, a part of Girl Guiding UK, which is the largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women in the UK. Everything a Rainbow does helps her to develop and express herself. As a Rainbow, she’ll have fun, learn new skills and make new friends, under the caring supervision of trained Rainbow Leaders.
Rainbows have fun! They take part in indoor and outdoor activities and their meetings are full of games and activities which provide challenging opportunities for Rainbows to think for themselves and take an active part in unit decision-making. Rainbows make this simple Promise that they share with members around the world. "I promise that I will do my best to love my God and to be kind and helpful".
St Andrew’s Methodist Church Rainbows meet on Thursdays during term time, from 5.45pm to 6.45pm. Contact a leader or just come along to a meeting!

6th Slough Brownies
The Brownies form part of The Guide Association, the largest organisation for girls in the world, and is for girls aged 7 – 10 years. The 6th Slough Brownies meet at St Andrew's Methodist Church on Wednesday evenings from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm during term time. We take girls from all denominations as long as the girls will make the guide promise to love their god. The girls work in small groups of six and do a variety of activities which include crafts, badge work and have lots of fun and games.
In 2007 we helped with 'Operation Christmas Child'. Click here to see the photo gallery.
We also join in activity days organised by the District which includes all the other Brownie packs in Slough, and once a year we go away for a week on Pack Holiday which is optional.
